Friends of the late Constance Marie Grace, 66, of Hartly, may call on the family at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at the Pippin Funeral Homes, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where services will be held at 1 p.m.

Ms. Grace died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at Delaware Hospice of Milford.

Born in Harlington, Texas, she was the daughter of Marjorie Morgan, now of Maryland, and the late James Wiest.

Ms. Grace was a long time employee of the state of Delaware, advocating to ensure a happy and full life for the mentally and physically challenged individuals of Delaware. She was recognized as employee of the year in 1989.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry Wiest, Jeff Hawkins and Wayne Hawkins; and a son, William B. Farrell, on Oct. 13, 1997.

In addition to her mother, Ms. Grace is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Lori Farrell of Oxford, Conn.; a daughter, Crystal S. Friday of Middletown; nine grandchildren, Shannon Crum, Mandi Thornton, Joel and Kaitlin Farrell, Michael Trythall, Adam, Cory, and Steven Friday, and Tony Farrell; and two great-grandchildren, Grant and Everett Thorton.

She also is survived by eight siblings, Doris Ferrandino, Shirley Stella, Barbara Harrison, Nancy Hurd, Sandy Skillman, Terri Rhoades and James and Richard Wiest.

Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, west of Dover.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ms. Grace’s name may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
