Friends of the late Leonard Joseph Lorsong, 92, of Greenwood, formerly of Henderson, Md., may call on the family beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 522 Main St., Marydel, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon.
Mr. Lorsong died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford.
Born Jan. 24, 1917, on the Jersey Shore, Pa., he was the son of the late Albert J. Lorsong and Francis Moore Lorsong.
Mr. Lorsong was retired foreman and machinist for International Latex Corporation of Dover.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Marydel.
Mr. Lorsong is survived by his wife of 67 years, Naomi M. Hill Lorsong; three sons, Dennis Lorsong of Henderson, David Lorsong of Harrington and Jonathon Lorsong of West Friendship, Md.; three daughters, Susannah Tough of Milford, Theresa Guethler of Bucksport, Maine and Veronica Richardson of Lincoln; a brother, Emmons Lorsong of Jersey Shore; two sisters, Catherine Johnson of Hagerstown, Md., and Joan Hochmoth of Salisbury, Md.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Greensboro.
