Friends of the late Clyde L. Hibbler Jr., 46, of Dover, may attend funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover.
Mr. Hibbler died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010.
Born Aug. 17, 1963, in Perrine, Fla., he was the son of Verna Hodge Hibbler and the late Clyde L. Hibbler Sr.
Mr. Hibbler owned and operated his own trucking company, AA Towing and DC Transportation.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting pool and being a businessman. He will be remembered for his pleasant personality and being a jokester.
Mr. Hibbler loved being with his children, and always was looking out for their welfare. He loved to barbecue, and his specialty was ribs.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Clyde L. Hibbler III.
Mr. Hibbler is survived by his companion, Debra Hess of Dover; a son, Benjamin Hibbler and his companion, Kasey Ricketts of Dover; a stepdaughter, Jackie Slaughter of Dover; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marie Gillis of Crumpton, Md., and Ella and Roger Culver of Hartly; a granddaughter, Shelby Boyd of Berry, Ky.; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
