Friends of the late Eleanor Kinney Duffner, 68, of Radford, Va., may call on the family from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1 at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., SW., Blacksburg, Va. Graveside services will be conducted at noon Monday, Nov. 2, in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Lynchburg, Va., with the Rev. Tommy McDearis officiating.

Mrs. Duffner died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, in the Montgomery Regional Hospital, Blacksburg, following a 33-day battle with lung cancer.

Born Oct. 12, 1941, in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Donald L. and Evelyn Kemp Kinney.

Mrs. Duffner was retired from Amerisource (Strother Drug Co.).

She was a member of Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church, Lynchburg.

Mrs. Duffner is survived by her husband of 29 years, C. Richard Duffner of Radford; three sisters, Beverly K. Poore, of Dover, Donna K. Hicks of Selbyville, Rita K. Bailey of Camden; a brother, Donald L. Kinney Jr., of Madison Heights, Va.; and by her many nieces and nephews.
