Friends of the late Robert O. Weyant, 42, of Dover, may call on the family at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at the Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, where memorial services will be held at 11 a.m.
Mr. Weyant died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill, Smyrna.
Born Feb. 12, 1967, in Dover, he was the son of Thomas E. Weyant of Dover and the late Mildred Ann Purcell Weyant, who died Sept. 24, 2003.
Mr. Weyant graduated from Caesar Rodney High School and attended Delaware Technical and Community College. He worked as a surveyor for various surveying firms until he became disabled. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Cross, Dover, and enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to his father, Mr. Weyant is survived by three brothers and their wives, Michael and Kathleen Weyant of Dover, Jeff and Karen Weyant of Shoemakersville, Pa., and Mark and Diana Weyant of Dover; two sisters and their husbands, Jan and Dave Walls and Jill and Ron Usilton and her husband Ron of Camden; and a foster brother and his wife, Roy and Tammy Hutson.
He also is survived by his former wife, Carol Gondeck; a stepson, Dustin Gondeck of Dover; a grandson, Dylan Gondeck; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be private.
