Friends of the late Frances J. Caldwell, 72, of Dover, may call on the family at noon, Wednesday, July 8, at the Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover, where services will be held at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Milton Kemp officiating.

   Mrs. Caldwell died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.

   Born June 27, 1937, in Ovapa, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Earl Murphy and Anna Greathouse Murphy.          

   Mrs. Caldwell was a retired certified nursing assistant; she loved to collect recipes and watch television. Her greatest love was for her family.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harley Murphy, Archie Murphy and Thurley Murphy; and by a sister, Genivive Vogle.

   Mrs. Caldwell is survived by two brothers, James “Pete” Murphy of Wyoming, and Teddy Murphy of New Mexico; two sisters, Martha Murphy of West Virginia and Christina Edwards of Wyoming; and a host of nieces and nephews.

   Interment will be in the Sharon Hills Memorial Park, west of Dover.

   Arrangements are by the Trader Funeral Home, Dover.
