Friends of the late Mildred L. Lindale, 82, of Magnolia, may call on the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 6, at the Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
Mrs. Lindale died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at home.
Born Feb. 22, 1927, in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late Olden Walls and Iola Davis Walls.
Mrs. Lindale was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, past president of the Delaware American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, past unit president of the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post No. 2, Dover.
She enjoyed going bowling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Lindale Sr.; and her great-grandson, Thomas C. Lindale IV.
Mrs. Lindale is survived by a son and his wife, Thomas C. Jr. and Patricia Lindale of Camden; a daughter, Millie Lehner of Sarasota, Fla.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
