Friends of the late Helen Moss Forester Lebkuecher, 87, of Dover, may call on the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover, where remembrance services will be held at noon Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Mrs. Lebkuecher died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009.

Born May 29, 1922, in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Newton and Bertha Moss.

Mrs. Lebkuecher had a passion for fashion, loved to dance and was a romantic at heart. More than anything, she loved her enormous family and always amazed everyone with her holiday dinners.

She was a very unique soul with great sense of humor. She loved to joke about having a 100th birthday party and dancing the whole night away. She was an avid card and bingo player and was never afraid to teach someone the game (or take their money) despite age. Manners, politeness, and table etiquette were very important to her and she was definitely not hesitant to correct anyone.

In the spring and summer months, she would be found in her garden tending her many rose bushes. In the fall she was den mother of Burnt Ducks Hunt Club.

Mrs. Lebkuecher truly loved life and sharing it with others; she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. Samuel G. Forester; her second husband, Philip Lebkuecher; and a son, Michael G. Forester.

Mrs. Lebkuecher is survived by her two sisters, Lillian Blackburn and Mary Crowder; two brothers, James and Gary Moss; a daughter, Cheryl; and three sons, John, Henry and William.

She also is survived by 10 grandchildren, Ric, Kevin, Sam, Billy, Johnny, Tanya, Katie, Ashley, Jenny and Autumn; and five great-grandchildren, Christopher, Krista, Michael Garwood, Savannah and Hayden.

Interment will be in the Sharon Hill Memorial Park, west of Dover.

Letters of condolence may be sent to www.delmarvaobits.com or traderfh@aol.com.
