A memorial service for Rosann T. Leva, 59, of Hartly, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, in the Love of Christ Church, Bear.

    Mrs. Leva died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at home.

    Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Leva was the daughter of Emily B. Elefante, now of Deptford, N.J., and the late Edward L. Elefante.

    She had worked as an operating room secretary at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital in Dover, and was a volunteer at the Summerwinds Stables in Hartly.

    In her spare time, Mrs. Leva enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family. She devoted her life to spoiling her grandchildren, and was a devoted wife and mother who will be sorely missed.

    In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Anthony “Tony” Leva of Hartly; a daughter, Elena Marie DiSilvestro of Hartly; two sisters, Linda Coderre of Galloway Township, N.J., and Patricia Binck of Deptford.; and two grandchildren, Adrianna and Michael DiSilvestro.

    Arrangements are by the Melvin Funeral Home, Harrington.
