Friends of the late Jason C. Maiden, 34, of Wyoming, may call on the family beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 24, at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover, where services will be held at noon.

    Mr. Maiden died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Christiana Hospital, Newark.

    Born Jan. 6, 1975, in Mt. Holly, N.J., he was the son of Charles C. Maiden, now of Dover, and the late Sandra Metcalfe Maiden.

    Mr. Maiden was a 1993 graduate of Dover High School and had worked as an HVAC technician until disability forced him to retire.

    He had a passion for automobiles and enjoyed mechanics. He loved fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed football and was one of the Philadelphia Eagles’ biggest fans.

    A kind and generous person, Mr. Maiden will be missed by both family and friends.

    In addition to his father, Mr. Maiden is survived by his wife, Nakaisha Maiden of Wyoming; a son, Kyle D. Maiden of Greensboro, Md., four brothers, Joshua Maiden of Leipsic, Charles Garrard of Doylestown, Ohio, Glenn Carroll of Virginia, and Justin LaDue of California; two sisters, Jillian Maiden of Dover and Karen Garrard of Doylestown; and several nieces and nephews.

    Interment will be in North Carolina.
