Friends of the late Timothy J. Nasielski, 50, of Magnolia, may call on the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, at the Church of the Holy Cross, 631 S. State St., Dover.
Mr. Nasielski died Friday, June 26, 2009, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.
Born in Norristown, Pa., he was the son of Anthony and Joan Rowe Nasielski of Conshohocken, Pa.
Mr. Nasielski served his country as a chef in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a technical sergeant in 1997, with 20 years on active duty.
At the time of his passing, he was working as a chef at the Delaware Home for the Chronically Ill, Smyrna. Cooking was his passion and in his quieter moments he enjoyed fishing and the time spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Nasielski.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Nasielski is survived by his wife, Fe Gavin Nasielski; three sons, Andrew, of the U.S. Navy in Jacksonville, Fla., and Steven and Michael, both of Magnolia; a sister, Collette Nasielski of Quakertown, Pa.; two brothers, Michael of Norristown and Christopher, of Telford, Pa.
Interment with military honors will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
