Dover man facing drug, endangerment charges

Dover Police Department Drug Unit officers, executing a search warrant at a local home, have arrested a 32-year-old man on drug and drug trafficking charges.

The raid was made March 9 at a home in the first block of Heritage Drive, The Hamlet, said police spokesman Lt. Tim Stump.

Officers located 5.5 grams of powder cocaine, 5.5 grams of crack cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia and ammunition.

A suspect in the case, identified as Donnell Drayton, 32, was charged with trafficking in cocaine, maintaining a dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited, violating probation and six counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Drayton was jailed at the Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of a $41,000 secured bond.
