Blease Rumerleon White Sr., 76, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009.

Born Jan. 17, 1933, in South Carolina, he was the son of the late Melvin Sr. and Runnett White.
Mr. White graduated from Greenleyville High School, Greenleyville, S.C.

He had a true passion for the automotive industry and worked at Chrysler, Townsend Brothers and King Cole as an auto mechanic. Eventually, he decided to become an entrepreneur where he owned and operated two auto body repair shops, Baltimore Body Shop in Baltimore, Md., and White’s Auto Body in Dover.

In addition to being a successful entrepreneur for many years, Mr. White was a devoted Christian who enjoyed attending services at Mt. Olive Pentecostal Church in Smyrna, where he was a member.

In his spare time, Mr. White loved to read the Bible and listen to gospel music while sitting back in his reclining chair. However his pride and joy was his family. He liked to sit around the house with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing checkers, watching movies, and being outside teaching them how to use the tractor and riding lawn mower.

He truly loved and adored his family and friends and will be missed by many.

Riddick and Herbert Lee Shaw Jr., two sisters, Francine Bunch and Rose McClary Bynum; five brothers, Solomon White, Wallace McClary, Charlie McClary, George McClary and John McClary.
