Officers with the Capitol Police arrested two persons after they allegedly forged signatures at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Carol L. Tribbett, 49, of Dover, and Shan Morning, 37, of Felton, were taken into custody Oct. 28, said police spokesman Det. L. Britt Davis.
The pair allegedly forged a doctor’s signature and that of a DMV employee and turned them in to the DMV in an attempt to have the window tint waived on a vehicle.
Tribbett and Morning were charged with two counts each of forgery and conspiracy as well as a single count of offering a false instrument.
Both were released on unsecured bonds pending future court appearances.
