Dover Police, conducting a surveillance operation in the city, arrested three men on loitering and other charges.
One man, identified as Erion Walker, 31, of the 5000 block of West Denney’s Road, also faces drug charges because police say he was carrying five bags of marijuana, packaged for sale.
The arrests were made July 2, when Dover officers spotted the three trespassing on South New Street property, said department spokesman Lt. Steve Getek. They were taken into custody after police found the drugs on Walker’s person, Getek said.
The two other men, identified as Deion Brown, 42, of the 1000 block of South Little Creek Road, and Dorsey Parker, 31, of the 4000 block of Midstate Road, Felton, were charged with trespass, loitering, and conspiracy; Brown also was charged with being a local fugitive.
Both were released on a summons.
In addition to the counts of trespass, loitering and conspiracy, Walker was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school.
He later was released on a $4,700 unsecured bond.
