Traffic signal to be installed near Smyrna

The Delaware Department of Transportation will activate a new traffic signal at the Route 13 and Route 300 intersection at Royal Farms in Smyrna on Monday, Nov. 16.

The signal will be dark for about four hours beginning at 9 a.m. The left turn lanes going northbound and southbound will be closed. Only one of the two eastbound left turn lanes will be closed to accommodate truck traffic from the Wal-Mart Distribution Center.

Flaggers will be present to guide motorists through the intersection.
