Post offices throughout the state will be open regular hours Friday, July 3, however most offices will be closed by 5 p.m., according to a press release issued July 1 by the U.S. Postal Service.

The Hares Corner Main Office Window, 147 Quigley Blvd., in New Castle, will be open until 7 p.m. Regular mail delivery for this day will be unaffected by the change.

Commercial customers are asked to check with their Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit for July 3 hours of operation. Customers may call 800-ASK-USPS for information about specific post offices. Customers requiring postal services later that day are encouraged to contact their local postmaster.

Post offices will be closed Saturday, July 4, and there will be no regular mail delivery except for Express Mail.
All post offices will be open and regular mail delivery will resume Monday, July 6.
