Fugitive found in Magnolia
Delaware State Police arrested a 53-year-old Wyoming man Oct. 2 who was wanted as a fugitive.
Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, troopers obtained a warrant to search a residence in the 100 block of South Draper Circle, Magnolia, said Sgt. Joshua Bushweller, spokesman for the Delaware State Police.
Charles Michael Kemp was taken into custody without incident in connection with the fugitive warrant.
He was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Center without bond.
Felton man profiled on ‘Most Wanted’
Delaware State Police are searching for a Felton man wanted for failure to re-register as a sex offender and violation of probation.
Delbert W. Sampson, 65, also was recently profiled on “America’s Most Wanted.”
An unconfirmed tip claimed he had been seen in the area of Spence’s Bazaar in July, said Sgt. Joshua Bushweller, spokesman for the Delaware State Police.
Sampson is a white man, approximately 6 feet tall weighing 160 pounds with graying, black hair and brown eyes.

Second alleged restaurant robber caught
Dover Police have arrested a second man in connection with the Aug. 1 robbery at the China King Restaurant on Walker Road.
The 28-year-old Dover man was spotted riding his motorcycle near South Little Creek Road, said Lt. James Hosfelt, spokesman for the Dover Police Department.
Officers stopped him but he took off on his motorcycle with officers in pursuit. In the area of the Dover Mart Shopping Center, Hosfelt said the suspect fell off his motorcycle at which time police took him in custody.
Jonathan L. Stevens, 28, of Dover, was charged with first-degree robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, resisting arrest and other charges. He was committed to Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $100,000 cash bail.
Dover police investigate area burglaries, robbery
Dover Police are investigating a pair of burglaries and a robbery that occurred in the area recently.
• Between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 2, someone entered a home in the 1400 block of Woodmill Drive and removed jewelry and electronic equipment, said Lt. James Hosfelt, spokesman for the Dover Police Department.
• Between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Oct. 3, someone entered a home on Turner Drive and took a laptop computer and other electronic equipment, said Lt. Steven Getek.
• At 10:30 a.m. Sept. 29, Getek said a woman was walking east on South Little Creek Road when a man riding a bicycle snatched her purse as he rode by.
The purse snatcher was described as white with brown hair and wearing a black jacket.
