Officers with the Dover Police Department’s Sex Offender Unit have obtained an arrest warrant for a convicted sex offender who has failed to register a new address.

Police conducting an address check Oct. 26 found the suspect, Dennell D. Harrison, 35, had moved from his Dover address and had not re-registered with the state Bureau of Identification, said police spokesman Lt. Steve Getek.

Harrison is a black man, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a pierced left ear, scars on both arms and tattoos on both arms. His last known address was on White Oak Road, Dover.

He was convicted in 1994 of unlawful sexual intercourse where the victim was less than 15 years of age.
