Dover Police charged two local men on drug offenses following a traffic stop on the east side of the city.
The arrests were made Nov. 17 at the intersection of Nimitz Road and Garfield Drive, said police spokesman Lt. Steve Getek. Department Quality of Life officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle; a search turned up 119 grams of marijuana, packaged for sale, Getek said.
The suspects, identified as David Dillard, 27, and Cabral Addy, 22, both of the same address in the unit block of Spruance Road, were charged with possession with the intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana within 300 feet of a park, possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a vehicle and conspiracy.
Both were released on $8,000 bond each.
