Dover Police arrested a Harrington man on drug charges following a traffic stop.

Officers from the city’s Quality of Life Unit made the stop Nov. 13 at the intersection of South DuPont Highway and Loockerman Street, said police spokesman Lt. Steve Getek. Officers contacting the person in the car, identified as Travis A. Barrett, 21, detected the odor of marijuana, Getek said, and conducted a search.

Police found 113 grams of marijuana, packaged for sale, under the seat, Getek said.

Barrett was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, maintaining a vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia; he later was released on a $4,500 unsecured bond.
