Man robs Happy Harry’s pharmacy
Dover Police are searching for a man who held up a Happy Harry’s employees and took approximately 60 bottles of oxycontin, oxycodone and Percocet.
The man walked into the Forrest Avenue store at 4:50 a.m. Oct. 10, and told the employee he had a gun, said Lt. Steven Getek, spokesman for the Dover Police Department.
The store pharmacist opened the pharmacy safe, and handed over the drugs, Getek said.
The suspect is described as a white man with a light complexion in his early 30s, 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a black bandana, blue jeans, a black shirt, a gray-hooded sweatshirt, a black belt and sneakers.
Getek said the man also had a raspy voice and smelled of cigarettes.

Man faces bank robbery charges
A Smyrna man was arrested by Delaware State Police investigating a rash of bank robberies committed in all three counties.
Working with Seaford, Dover, Smyrna and Middletown police, officers identified Scott Secrest, 37, as living in Smyrna, said Cpl. Jeff Whitmarsh, spokesman for the Delaware State Police.
He had previously been arrested by Seaford police and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $4,500 secured bail for an Oct. 3 bank robbery, Whitmarsh said. Secrest now faces charges for an Oct. 10 bank robbery as well, he added.
Charges against Secrest include seven counts of robbery, two counts of wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
He remains at SCI in default of an additional $184,000 secured bond.
Police investigate tattoo parlor theft
Dover Police are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars worth of equipment from a local tattoo business.
The burglary occurred between 2 and 7 a.m. Oct. 5, at Worlds of Wonder Tattooing on Lafferty Lane, when someone smashed the front door to the business.
Once inside, the burglar took 10 tattoo machine frames, a Sony handheld DVD recorder, a Canon mini handheld recorder, four swords, two cases of tattooing ink and miscellaneous items. The total value was $6,845.
