Two men sought in connection with knife fight
Delaware State Police are searching for two men in connection with a knife fight early morning Oct. 16 in Lincoln in which a man was seriously injured.
A woman said a male friend had driven away from her house when she heard a gunshot and saw a car that she recognized drive toward Coastal Highway, said Sgt. Joshua Bushweller, spokesman for the Delaware State Police.
Shortly afterward, the woman’s friend pulled into her driveway, honked his horn and yelled for help, he said.
When the woman went out to see him, Bushweller said the man opened his car door and fell out, covered in blood.
The victim was taken to Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital and transferred to Christiana Hospital where he was treated for nine stab wounds to his body, including the neck. He is listed in serious condition.
Police are searching for Eric and Timothy Davis of Neal Road, Lincoln, on charges of first-degree attempted murder.

State police make Megan’s Law notification
The Delaware State Police Public Information Officer has released a Megan’s Law Community Notice regarding a convicted sex offender living in the Dover area.
Angelo Rosa, 36, has registered his status as homeless, according to police spokesman Sgt. Joshua Bushweller.
Rosa is described as a white man, with brown eyes and brown hair, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds.
He is considered a Tier II, or moderate risk offender. Rosa was convicted in 1998 of unlawful sexual intercourse where the victim was less than 16 years of age.
Rosa is not wanted for any crimes, Bushweller said; the notification was for advisory purposes only.
Woman sought in stabbing incident
Delaware State Police are searching for a woman for allegedly stabbing her ex-boyfriend while visiting him in the early morning of Oct. 18 at Palmer Park.
The woman allegedly arrived at approximately 3:35 a.m. to talk to her ex-boyfriend about a money issue when they began to argue, said Cpl. Jeffrey Whitmarsh, spokesman for the Delaware State Police.
She then pulled out some sort of object and stabbed the man in the upper chest, Whitmarsh said.
Police are searching for Dawn N. Sullivan, 26, of Oates Lane, Camden.

Man shot in leg at Walker Woods
Dover Police are investigating a shooting incident Oct. 16 in which a man walking in Walker Woods was shot in the leg.
The man was walking along Harmony Lane when a car pulled up and someone shot him, said Lt. James Hosfelt, spokesman for the Dover Police Department.
Hosfelt said the victim is not cooperating with the investigation.

Man arrested in Dunkin’ Donuts burglary
A Dover man who allegedly burglarized the Dunkin’ Donuts at South DuPont Highway Oct. 7 was arrested by Dover Police Oct. 14.
The suspect had entered the store undetected, then fled with an undisclosed amount of money. He was located seven days later at the corner of William and North State streets.
Police arrested Ernest C. Schofield, 40, of North State Street, and charged him with third-degree burglary and theft. He was released on $6,000 unsecured bond.
Jailed Dover teens face burglary charges
Two Dover teens arrested Oct. 10 for a pair of robberies in Rehoboth Beach are facing more charges in connection with the burglary of Windswept Copier Service on the same night.
The two allegedly broke a window to the business and took computer equipment and cash before fleeing, said Lt. James Hosfelt, spokesman for the Dover Police Department.
Derell E. Tyson, 19, and Gary Hudson, 18, both of New Jersey Drive, were arrested Oct. 14, and charged with third degree burglary, theft, criminal mischief and second-degree conspiracy. They remain jailed at Sussex Correctional Institution with an additional $4,500 cash bond added to their previous bond.
Police investigate robbery at Delaware Title and Loan
Dover Police are investigating a robbery at the Delaware Title and Loan Oct. 10 when two men entered the business and demanded money.
The pair received cash from store employees and two customers, then fled, said police spokesman Lt. James Hosfelt.
One man is described as 24 years old and weighing 170 pounds. The other is described as 22 years old and weighing approximately 190 pounds. No additional description was given.
Burglar takes cash, computer equipment
Dover Police are investigating an Oct. 13 burglary at a local restaurant.
The burglar got into the Golden Corral restaurant by damaging a window, then took cash and computer equipment said Lt. James Hosfelt, spokesman with the Dover Police Department.

Motorcyclist injured in crash near Camden
A motorcyclist was thrown from his bike Oct. 14 in the parking lot of Texas Roadhouse Restaurant resulting in a closed head injury.
Joseph Kramer, 38, of Dover, lost control and was not wearing a helmet when he struck the pavement, said Capt. Gary Melvin, spokesman for the Camden Police Department.
Kramer was taken to Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital and transferred to Christiana Hospital were he is listed in critical but stable condition.
Smyrna man charged in auto dealership burglary
Dover Police arrested a Smyrna man Oct. 17 in connection with the September burglary of Delaware Auto Sales.
A Jeep, valued at $11,000, was stolen.
Officers charged Michael Hudgins, 30, with third-degree burglary, two counts of felony theft, misdemeanor theft and two counts of criminal mischief, said Lt. James Hosfelt, spokesman for the Dover Police Department.
Hudgins was committed to Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $1,800 secured bond.
Robber sentenced to one year in jail
A Dover man has been sentenced to a year in prison following a guilty plea to robbery and conspiracy charges.
Stephen Eashum, 18, entered the plea Aug. 26 and was sentenced by Judge James T. Vaughn Oct. 14. Eashum will spend one year in prison followed by a one-year term of intense probation.
Eashum was arrested April 30 following a pair of robberies April 26 and April 27 at two convenience stores. He was one of three persons apprehended in connection with the crime.
Police records show Eashum was the getaway driver during the holdups.
