Despite forecasts for a rainy and cold Friday evening, the weather cooperated long enough Oct. 16 for the Caesar Rodney School District to hold its annual homecoming parade. The CR drama department showed off their float prior to the parade. They included, in front from left, junior Dylan Swinson, 17 and senior Ryan Norfleet, 17; and on the float, from left, senior Kelley Coleman, 17, sophomore Lauren Ventura, 16, sophomore Jen Marshall, 15, junior Casey Smith, 16, senior Molly Barron, 17, and sophomore Devon Coventry, 15.

Despite dreary weather and a rainy forecast, members of the Caesar Rodney School District showed up in droves Oct. 16 for the district's homecoming parade.
The rain held off long enough for the participants to move down the crowded parade route.
