Gov. Jack Markell on Nov. 7 announced he has received formal written notice from the Hon. Henry duPont Ridgely, justice of the Delaware Supreme Court, of his intention to retire from the Supreme Court effective Jan. 31, 2015.In connection with that notice, Markell issued the following statement:

A New York man who pleaded guilty earlier this year to perpetrating multiple fraud and identity theft schemes in the Dover area was sentenced Tuesday to nearly four years in jail.
