Dynamic Physical Therapy and Aquatic Rehabilitation has opened a second branch in Dover in the Longacre Village Shopping Center.

    Because the shopping center with the copper-colored roof is not full of businesses, physical therapist Gina Senkowski said she did not think most people were aware yet of her office, which opened in December.

    Senkowski, who moved to Dover from Washington state a year ago, has a master’s degree in physical therapy from St. Louis University. She has been working as a physical therapist for seven years and currently is the main therapist in this office of Dynamic Physical Therapy.

    “We treat all body parts and all injures,” Senkowski said, noting the business will treat patients who have a physical therapy referral form signed by their doctor. This includes people that have been in motorcycle accidents, require post-operative therapy, or experience lower back or neck pain.

    “Pretty much, if it hurts, we’ll treat it,” she added.

    The office’s black van, decorated with Dynamic Physical Therapy’s logos, is used to provide free transportation to any customers who need the service.

    Treatment sessions typically last 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the severity of the injury, and Senkowski sees patients from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.

    The new office is located at 523 S. Red Haven Lane, approximately one mile south of the Camden Wal-Mart.

    Dynamic Physical Therapy and Aquatic Rehabilitation has a total of 21 locations in Delaware and southern Pennsylvania, including offices in Middletown, Georgetown, Newark and Wilmington.
