Wesley College Cannon Scholar Kylea Lankford was selected as a Delaware IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence Summer Scholar Performance Award winner.

This is the first time a Cannon Scholar received this honor.

Award winners demonstrate enthusiasm and a high level of engagement in the project; ability to work well with others and be a good citizen within the research group; and show potential to develop into an excellent researcher. The award includes a $100 monetary prize. Lankford’s long-term goal is to enter a dental program after graduation.
