Some fun First State events for you to dive into this weekend.

1. Grab a pot. Put funk, rock and blues in it. Then stir it up. Now you have Pebble to Pearl.

Pebble to Pearl is a dance band featuring a collaboration of professional musicians and vocalists who’ve performed with the likes of All Time Low, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack and Salt & Pepa.

2. Lower Case Blues and the Clifford Keith Trio will play a show together for the low price of “free 99.”

Lower Case Blues, inductees of the Delaware Blues Hall of Fame, have shared the stage with big names such as Robert Randolph, Buddy Guy and Grand Funk Railroad.

The Rehoboth band’s accolades include playing in the first Firefly Music Festival in 2012. Clifford Keith Trio holds it down with covers of country and Americana tunes.

3. Classic rock/blues and country band Hooverville plays the songs you forgot you loved.

The three-piece band includes Danny Beck (lead guitar/vocals) Andrew Domingue (keys/vocals) and John “Taco” Wroten (drums/percussion).
