A new woman-owned business has opened its doors in Dover.

Jennifer Stoltz and her partner Joe Torres held a July 26 ribbon cutting in celebration of the grand opening of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Dover, a national American-owned, veteran-operated franchise with more than 185 locations around the U.S.

Torres served in the U.S. Navy and Stoltz has been in the service industry for more than two decades. Stoltz’s grandfather served in the Korean War and was raised on the principles the military values — respect, integrity, and trust — which is how she plans to run the business.

JDog is committed to protecting and preserving the environment and keeps at least 60 to 80 percent of the items they collect out of landfills. The Dover location works with organizations like Paralyzed Veterans of America to donate and refurbish items collected on job sites.
