Waste Management, a contractor that provides trash and recycling services to Delaware State University, showed its support of the university by donating $5,000 to go toward scholarships.

Paul Beane, the Waste Management representative who is the main connection between the university and the company, recently presented the check to Rosetta Brickhouse, executive director of DSU Facilities Operations, and Howard Gibson, associate director of Custodial and Grounds Services.

Joining Beane and the DSU officials for the check presentation was Judy Diogo, president of the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce.
