Dover police have arrested a 39-year-old woman on drug charges after she allegedly stopped her car in the middle of the intersection of Fulton and North New streets.

Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said the incident took place at 8:41 a.m. Saturday, July 7 when Antionette Hale stopped her Toyota SUV in the road.

A computer check showed she was driving on a revoked license, Hoffman said.

A search turned up 104 bags of heroin inside the vehicle, 0.9 grams of marijuana, and three types of prescription medications.

Hale is charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She later was released after posting a $6,500 secured bond.
