Adam Brown is thought to have burglarized a church and home

A Felton man has been arrested on burglary and other charges following an investigation into two break-ins.

Delaware State spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe identified the suspect as 19-year-old Adam Brown.

The first incident took place between June 10 and June 14at the London Village Baptist Chapel, Magnolia, when the burglar broke through a rear window and escaped with a jar of coins.

Police were able to identify Brown as the suspect, in that case, Jaffe said.

A second break-in took place June 14 at a home in the 600 block of Walnut Shade Road, Woodside, where the owner reported someone had broken a window to get inside the house. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

Troopers arrested Brown June 14 after spotting him on Millchop Lane and Lambert Drive, Woodside, Jaffe said.

He is charged with second- and third-degree burglary, theft, theft of property under $1,500, and two counts of criminal mischief.
