After the Sunday robbery, the suspects ran off, possibly toward the White Oak condos

Dover police are looking for two men involved in a Sunday afternoon armed robbery at about 3:15 p.m. June 3, at the Stop and Shop convenience store located at 1102 White Oak Road, department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

The suspects, described only as black men, came into the store and pulled black handguns, Hoffman said. One remained at the door as a lookout while the other went behind the counter, taking miscellaneous items and cash.

He also took the clerk’s cell phone, Hoffman added.

Afterward, both men ran away to the north, possibly toward the White Oak condominiums.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Dover police at 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips also may be submitted through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333, or online at tipsubmit.com.
