Detectives with the Dover Police Department are investigating a residential burglary.

Spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said the break-in took place sometime between 6 a.m. and 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 in the 100 block of Chatham Court.

The burglar or burglars forced their way into the unoccupied home through a rear door. Once inside they took electronics and a .20-gauge shotgun.

There are no suspects, Hoffman added.
