Capital School District’s 2019 Teachers of the Year from each school were recognized and honored during a May 7 banquet at the Duncan Center in Dover.

Joseph Fuller, 2019 Teacher of the Year at Dover High School, was chosen as the 2019 Capital School District Teacher of the Year. Fuller is a teacher with the Intensive Learning Center at Dover High.

2019 Teachers of the Year were also recognized: Booker T. Washington’s Amy Tierson, Central Middle School’s William Reaves Jr., East Dover Elementary’s Heidi Moore, Fairview Elementary’s Christine Nicholson, Hartly Elementary’s Lauren Hunter, Kent County Community School’s Lisa Enright, Kent County Secondary ILC’s Dayra Diamond, North Dover Elementary’s Hannah Wilson, South Dover Elementary’s Alexis Bailey, Towne Point Elementary’s Jennifer Christman and William Henry Middle School’s Megan Stoffa.
