Police are looking for a white, four-door sedan.
Officers with the Dover Police Department are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Friday night.
Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said the incident took place at about 7:13 p.m. April 13 in the area of William and Pear streets.
Police were told a while four-door sedan driven by a black man fired several shots at a vehicle carrying several passengers. The vehicle was not hit, and there were no injuries, Hoffman said, adding it did not appear as if any properties in the area were damaged.
The police investigation turned up several shell casings, he added.
Police are continuing their investigation; anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Dover police at 736-7130. Tips may be left anonymously.
