Rep. Lyndon Yearick recently filed to seek reelection to the 34th Representative District seat.
Raised on a dairy farm, Yearick has been an advocate for Delaware's family farms and is the co-creator of Delaware Produce Week, an annual event that facilitates linkages between consumers and local producers of fresh fruit and vegetables.
He also sponsored measures aimed at reducing the state's high cost of health care and authored a new law removing a burden on those casting absentee ballots.
Yearick is seeking his third term in the House of Representatives.
