The council for the Dover/Kent County Metropolitan Planning Organization is scheduled to meet at 3 p.m. March 7 in the King Meeting Room of Camden Town Hall, 1783 Friends Way.
Council on that day will be asked to vote on the MPO's proposed fiscal 19 budget, known as the Unified Planning Work Program, as well as discuss and possibly take action on health care options for the MPO. A public comment period for the UPWP is in effect through March 2.
Another item for discussion and possible action refers to the methodology of how the MPO determined its indirect cost rate regarding a federally required financial program called the Indirect Cost Allocation Plan.
In addition, the council is scheduled to discuss a constituent question regarding the location of terminals for private interstate bus services when they pass through Dover.
The MPO Council meeting is open to the public, which is encouraged to attend. Camden Town Hall is located just off of Voshell Mill Road, across U.S. 13 from B&B Music store.
