Wesley College Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy Taliah Cook was invited to write a chapter in the eighth edition of “Occupational Therapy for Physical Dysfunction.”

Her chapter will be titled “Restoring Activities of Daily Living.”

Cook has previously conducted research on “The Effectiveness of a Comprehensive Home Health Program on Functional Independence of Older Adults Living in the Community.” The research has helped occupational therapy clinicians, patients, families and caregivers gain and understanding in how working with assistive technology can help bring the best outcomes to patients.

Cook earned her Occupational Therapy Doctorate in occupational therapy from Temple University, her Master of Occupational Therapy at Philadelphia University and her undergraduate degree in health sciences from Lincoln University.
