Comments will be accepted on a proposed DelDOT project for new sidewalks, curbs, crosswalks and curb ramps on the north side of Main Street from Arthursville Road to North Street, and on the south side of Main Street from Arthursville Road to Slaughter Station Road.

The Delaware Department of Transportation is hosting a public workshop Tuesday, Feb. 20 from 4-7 p.m., to review the proposed sidewalk improvements along Main Street in Hartly.The workshop will be held at the Hartly Volunteer Fire Company, 2898 Arthursville Road, Hartly.

The DelDOT proposal includes new sidewalks, curbs, crosswalks, and curb ramps along the north side of Main Street between Arthursville Road and North Street, and along the south side of Main Street between Arthursville Road and Slaughter Station Road.

People can attend anytime between 4 and 7 p.m. and make comments.

People can also express their views in writing, giving reasons for or against the proposed project. Comments will be received during the workshop or can be mailed to DelDOT Community Relations, P.O. Box 778, Dover DE 19903 or sent via email to dotpr@state.de.us.

The firehouse is accessible to people with disabilities.
