Incident occurred at Lewes liquor store.

The Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the above-pictured suspect, who is wanted in connection with the alleged theft of a wallet in Lewes.

Monday, Feb. 12, at around 4:30 p.m. a 40-year-old woman dropped her wallet in the parking lot of Roadsters liquor store at 1551 Savannah Road. She returned to the liquor store after realizing her wallet was missing and made contact with the store manager. The store's video surveillance tapes showed the victim dropping her wallet and, a few minutes later, the above-pictured suspect picking it up and exiting the parking lot in a four-door, maroon-colored Acura.

The suspect is described as a black male and was wearing an Eagles football shirt, black pants with a red stripe, glasses and a white earpiece.
