Reggie Capitan, former U.S. Marine and president of The Brick Doctor, a Dover-based contracting business, attended a house dedication ceremony for retired U.S. Marine Corporal Clark Cavalier in Delmar, Maryland, on Jan. 30.
The welcome home event, held at the Goldsboro Fire Hall, included multiple contractors who contributed supplies and labor to make the project possible under the auspices of The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The foundation was created by the family of New York City firefighter Stephen Siller, who died to save others Sept. 11, 2001. Working with organizations like The Home Depot and suppliers of home building and furnishing products, the foundation has built 66 homes throughout the nation to honor military and first responders who make sacrifices for the country.
