One man jumped the counter and demanded drugs at gunpoint

Dover police are looking for two men who robbed a Walgreens pharmacy Christmas Eve.

Dover Police Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said the robbery took place at 9:52 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, at the store located at 1001 Forrest Ave.

Hoffman said the men came into the store and went to the pharmacy in the rear. There, one jumped over the counter, pulled a gun and demanded a supply of pain pills from the pharmacy clerk.

The clerk handed over an undisclosed drug and the men fled in an unknown direction.

Police are continuing their investigation; anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Dover police at 736-7130. Tips may be left anonymously.
