Delaware State Police troopers have wrapped up a two-month investigation into drugs being sold out of a Kent County home.

Division spokesman Master Cpl. Michael Austin identified the pair as Carlisle Lindmark and Jazmyne Harris, both 20, of the 100 block of Jeri Lane.

Austin said on Dec. 22 members of the Kent County Drug Unit, assisted by the Kent County Governor’s Task Force and the DSP Special Operations Response Team went to the home and took Lindmark and Harris into custody without their resisting.

A search turned up 65.41 grams of marijuana, three Alprazolam pills for which they had no prescription and $3,000 in suspected drug money.

Lindmark and Harris are charged with one count each of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of a schedule iv controlled substance and second-degree conspiracy.

After arraignment in Justice of the Peace Court No. 2, Lindmark was released after posting a $6,000 bail. Harris later was released on a $6,000 unsecured bond.

Dover woman disarmed after shooting threat

Troopers with the Delaware State Police have arrested a Dover woman for pointing a handgun at another woman and threatening to shoot her during an argument at a local gas station.

DSP spokesman Master Cpl. Michael Austin identified the woman as 24-year-old Shaniqua Saunders of Dover.

The incident took place at about 7:32 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017, at the Happy Gas, located at 50 W. Birdie Lane, Magnolia.

While inside the store, the victim, a 24-year-old Dover woman, got into a verbal fight with Saunders, after which Saunders went into the parking lot while the woman and a 37-year-old man she was with stayed inside.

The pair eventually left the business when Saunders allegedly confronted them again, continuing the verbal altercation. Saunders advanced on the woman while producing a black handgun and pointing it at her along with a threat she would pull the trigger.

The man intervened and disarmed Saunders, taking the handgun from her, Austin said.

Arriving troopers took Saunders into custody without further incident and recovered a loaded Ruger LCP 9mm handgun; this weapon was positively identified as the one Saunders used to threaten the woman, Austin said.

There were no injuries reported, he added.

Saunders was arrested and is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, aggravated menacing and first-degree reckless endangering.

She was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court No. 7 and released after posting $30,000 secured bail.
