Daniel Arthur Hill will be sentenced in February.

A Dover man pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of producing child pornography before U.S. District Court Judge Gregory M. Sleet in Wilmington.

Daniel Arthur Hill 29, was arrested by Delaware State Police Dec. 16, 2015, on charges of solicitation of a minor, Department of Justice spokeswoman Kimberlynn Reeves said.

According to admissions Hill made as part of the guilty plea, he had met a person online he thought was a 14-year-old girl and with whom he had made an arrangement to engage in sexual intercourse, Reeves said.

After his arrest, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant on Hill’s electronics and he was indicted Aug. 8, 2016, on charges of enticement of a minor and for possession, production, and distribution of child pornography.

He will be sentenced Feb. 15, 2018, Reeves said.

The Delaware State Police and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations investigated the case in cooperation with the Delaware Attorney General’s Office
