The public will be able to learn about astrobiology and experience Delaware State University’s recently restored observatory telescope during an open house at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 in the Mishoe Science Center on the DSU campus, 1200 N. Dupont Highway, Dover.

The event is free and open to the public.

The event will begin with a presentation on “Astrobiology: Life in the Universe” in room 223 of the Mishoe Science Center, then attendees will go on a visit to the observatory where they will have an opportunity to see the telescope and, if weather permits, look through its lenses. If the sky is clear, it may be possible to see Uranus and Neptune.
