Three Laurel juveniles arrested.

A woman was threatening by what appeared to be a handgun, but was actually a BB gun, in Laurel on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Oct. 10, at around 6 p.m., hours police responded to the area of Market Street and Railroad Avenue for a welfare check. There they were advised by a female that she was threatened by three juveniles with a black handgun. When officers located the juveniles they fled on foot but were ultimately captured without incident. One of them, a 10-year-old, had a black BB gun that replicated a Colt style semi-automatic firearm tucked into his waistband, with the butt of the gun exposed.

All three suspects were charged with resisting arrest. The suspect in possession of the firearm was charged with aggravated menacing, terroristic threatening and possession of a concealed dangerous instrument, as well. All three suspects were released to their parents pending hearings in family court.
