The Delaware Technical Community College Terry Campus will offer free GED placement screening for individuals 16-62 years old who have officially withdrawn from high school at 9 a.m. Oct. 19 in Building 200 on the Terry Campus, 100 Campus Drive, Dover.

The assessment screening, which lasts about 3.5 hours, does not require pre-registration. Immediately after the assessment, individuals 16-24 years old will be able to attend an information session about the Future Leaders of Business-Out of School Youth program. This job skills training program is offered at no cost through a partnership with the state’s Department of Labor Workforce Development Board.

Future Leaders of Business students will work towards obtaining a GED and earn industry-recognized certificates, participate in employability life skills training and leadership development opportunities, take financial literacy workshops and complete on-the-job training

through paid work experiences.
