Crabmeat Thompson live onstage.
Delaware Friends of Folk will present the first event in the 2017-18 Old State House concert series at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 13 inside the Old State House, 25 The Green, Dove.
The concert will feature Delaware’s own troubadour Jerry “Crabmeat” Thompson.
The series is produced in cooperation with the First State Heritage Park and is supported by a grant from the Kent County Fund for the Arts.
Thompson has played folk and original songs in comedy clubs, schools, libraries, halls and pubs. He’s shared the stage with Kate Wolfe, Richie Havens, poet Charles Bukowski and Roscoe the Wonder Horse.
The Old State House concert series is presented by Delaware Friends of Folk, supported by a grant from the Kent County Fund for the Arts, an organization that aims to enhance the quality of life, educate and broaden perspectives by supporting the arts and arts organizations in Kent County.
The concert is free and open to the public.
