New Jersey State Police are reporting the death of a Dover man who was killed in a weekend automobile crash.
Division spokesman Sgt. 1st Class Jeff Flynn identified the man as Lloyd R. Hoxter, 35.
The crash was reported at about 7:18 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, Flynn said. Hoxter was headed northbound on Interstate 205 near Mount Laurel township, Burlington County when his Pontiac sedan ran into the rear of a Dodge Charger.
Flynn said the driver of the Charger, a New Jersey resident, had stopped to clear some debris from the roadway.
Hoxter was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Flynn said the other driver is cooperating with police and no charges have been filed, although police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
